Spherical Rotary Joint for Walking Beam Furnace Evaporative Cooling
Rotation plus 30° swing for the furnace moving cooling elements
Overview
Walking beam heating furnaces move cooling elements through periodic motion while evaporative cooling keeps them at temperature. This spherical rotary joint links the moving cooling components to the stationary piping — it rotates and swings up to 30° without losing the seal. The stainless steel sealing sphere is polished and hardened, and the PPL sealing element resists wear at temperature. Rated to 250°C and 1.6/4.0 MPa, flange JB/T82.1-94.
